This project has been commissioned in 2006 by SuPalatu_Fotografia for the international photographic festival
for european photographers under 31 years called Menotrentuno.
I was asked to work on the territory of Sardinia, specifically the area of Barbagia,
a very small region in the center of Sardinia were people still live mainly off agriculture and sheep farming.
In these pictures I wanted to show the deep and indissoluble link that connects these people to their land.
This body of work has been shown at the Museum for the Culture in Osilo, at Stazione Termini,
for the International Festival of Photography in Rome and at the Museum for European Cultures in Berlin, Germany.
